Academics. 

Our state of the art educational media include computer and inter-connected network accessibility in most of the classrooms.  Most of our highly qualified teachers are using the high technology SmartBoard system to deliver lessons and utilize the Internet for electronic communications between teachers and students.  The educational media have evolved at St. Joe's.  The classroom has expanded in space and time, and students are experiencing academic success that most in the past, with an all blackboard-chalk school system had never experienced before…

 
Communications Technology:

Since the Regional Communications Technology Contest began again in 2005, St. Joseph's Catholic High School has competed twice. St. Joseph's hosted the event in 2005, winning first place overall that year. 

Music Program:

St. Joseph's Catholic High School is home to the "St. Joe's" Junior and Senior bands. They include a variety of instruments from Trombones to Flutes. They perform annually at a music competition in Collingwood. They have in the past received a rank of gold at the national competition in Ottawa. They have also travelled to Chicago and to New York in the past. The St. Joseph's Band offers a great musical learning experience.

Athletics

St. Joseph’s Catholic High School believes in the balance between High Academic Standards and Athletic needs of students.  Our students are offered a variety of sports year after year including Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Soccer, Golf, Flag Football, Rowing and Snowboarding.

Special Needs Services

The Special Needs Department is committed to offering our students a well rounded education, providing learning opportunities in the: Arts, Languages, Math and Sciences, Social Sciences, Physical Education, Hospitality, Woodworking and Co-operative Education fields. The Department also delivers specialty literacy and numeracy classes.
